2020 Akubra

Saturated garnet hues lead into an expressive bouquet of clove, violet, smoky mesquite, and espresso bean. Juicy and remarkably concentrated with gorgeous plum skin-like tannin wrapped around a core of dark chocolate shavings, grilled meat, black truffle, and dark berry compote. The finish is long and smooth with repeating notes of fruit and spice alongside pleasant tannins adding shape and a gentle grip. A perfect candidate for cellaring, drink now through 2042.
